ABB Schweiz AG is a global technology leader that supports industries in working more efficiently and cleanly. The internship is based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, within the Procurement team of the Electrification Division. ABB Smart Buildings, the relevant division, focuses on optimizing energy efficiency, safety, security, and comfort across all building types through integrated digital technologies covering HVAC, lighting, energy distribution, and building automation. Manage sub-projects in sourcing and benchmarking activities. Support the local Power User with eProcurement tools. Assist and support in process optimization. Report on price development and market intelligence. Carry out master data correction actions and document management. Handle external supplier correspondence and KPI tracking and reporting. Organize and prepare supplier visits and audits. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, engineering, information systems, or a similar field, with initial supply chain experience. Fluent in German and English. Proficient in MS Excel (confidential handling). Strong communication skills; shows initiative, is self-managing, and works in a well-organized manner. Curiosity and a proactive mindset. SAP knowledge is a plus. Must hold a current valid visa/work permit for Switzerland or a confirmation of a mandatory internship from a university.
