Bank Cler AG is a Swiss bank with nearly 100 years of history, operating under the Romansh word "Cler" meaning clear, simple, and distinct. The bank provides financial services in saving, payments, investment, retirement planning, and financing across 23 branches throughout Switzerland. It advises customers both digitally via its Zak app and in person, and is committed to giving interns hands-on responsibility and meaningful involvement from day one. During the 18-month BEM internship, interns rotate through three varied assignments in bank branches (Basel, Aarau, and Olten). Responsibilities include customer advice in person at the counter or by phone, carrying out account openings, payments and payment transactions, providing in-depth advice on loans, investments, and banking products for private and corporate customers, and contributing to projects with insights into digital banking solutions. The internship concludes with the nationally recognised banking industry certificate (BEM). By August 2027, applicants must have completed an academic, commercial vocational (KV or WMS), or specialised Matura with good to very good results in German, Mathematics, Economics, English, and French. Candidates should have an interest in the world of business and banking, confident communication skills in German, enjoyment of advising people from diverse backgrounds, a team-player mentality, the ability to work independently and reliably, and an interest in digital trends and technologies such as artificial intelligence. Bank Cler offers an 18-month structured internship with three varied branch assignments, inter-company banking courses at CYP (Challenge Your Potential), supplementary courses at IGKG, and internal sales training and specialist courses.
