CERN's People Experience and Engagement team seeks an HR assistant to support the employee journey across the organization. The role operates within the Human Resources division, serving a diverse community of students, graduates, and staff in a dynamic research environment. Provide efficient and friendly HR administration and communication for various HR processes and queries, supporting HR professionals and client departments. Inform and advise student and graduate populations on regulations, integration, and processes. Deliver engaging presentations on HR topics to diverse audiences. Execute swift administration of contractual actions for multiple employee populations. Must be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State. Maximum two years of professional experience since graduation in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field. Highest educational qualification must be a general secondary education diploma; applicants with Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degrees are ineligible. Must have never held a CERN fellow or graduate contract previously. Must demonstrate experience with discretion and confidentiality, effective written and oral communication, customer service, MS Office proficiency, presentation skills, and spoken/written English with commitment to learn French. Monthly stipend of 4,687 Swiss Francs (tax-free). 30 days of paid leave per year plus 2 weeks annual closure. Comprehensive health insurance coverage for employee, spouse, and children.
