CHANEL is a leading global luxury fashion house operating across Fashion, Fragrances & Beauty, and Watches & Fine Jewelry divisions. Its Indirect Procurement (IP) function is a Finance function responsible for the purchase of goods and services not directly involved in product manufacturing, covering areas such as Logistics & Transportation, Marketing & Communication, Property & Facilities, Human Resources, General Services, Professional Services, Travel & Events, Marketing & POS, and IT & Telecom. The Geneva-based team supports Chanel Switzerland and the Swiss Markets cluster (Switzerland, Panama, Mexico, Brazil, India).
Lead sourcing and tendering processes including RFI and RFP preparation and launch. Support business partners in defining specifications and requirements. Analyse and negotiate proposals and quotes with suppliers and business partners. Award suppliers, implement legal agreements, and report on benefits. Identify spend optimisation and supplier panel rationalisation opportunities. Define and implement Preferred Supplier Lists with business partners and suppliers. Conduct financial and spend analysis and prepare professional negotiation materials. Monitor risk management and sustainable procurement through various tools and initiatives. Create and enrich catalogues (hosted and punch-out) on the P2P platform together with business partners and suppliers. Clean and enrich the preferred supplier database. Improve procurement processes and handle ad hoc requests. Provide reporting on project performance and ensure relevant documentation is shared with the Regional and Global IP team.
Bachelor's or Master's degree, or recent graduate, in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a similar field. Previous experience in Procurement is an advantage. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills. Fluent in French and English (mandatory). Spanish or Portuguese is a plus. A mandatory internship agreement is required: the internship must be part of a study programme, required for degree completion, and validated by the award of academic credits.
