As part of its Tax Services division in Geneva, the Tax Accounting & Risk Advisory Services (TARAS) team advises national and international clients on complex tax issues, helping to optimise their business and legal structures. The team works in interdisciplinary and multicultural environments and leverages a hybrid working model allowing for remote work from home or another EY office in Switzerland. Develop an understanding of day-to-day activities and transactions related to tax and tax accounting matters and ensure they are properly addressed. Assist multinational enterprises (MNEs) with the implementation of BEPS 2.0 – Pillar II. Assess the impacts of transactions on tax accounting and BEPS 2.0 – Pillar II. Prepare, review and manage quarterly and annual tax provisions for US GAAP and IFRS purposes, coordinating with EY country teams for sign-off and client delivery. Manage and assist in the preparation of annual statutory tax provisions under local GAAP with EY country teams. Assist in data compilation and workpaper preparation as needed. Analyse clients' current and future income and deferred tax liabilities or assets in accordance with IFRS and/or US GAAP standards. Prepare and review journal entry packages, return-to-provision entries, and submit them for client approval. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Recognised diploma or ongoing education in tax, accounting or equivalent, ideally at master's degree level. Knowledge of Swiss taxation with proficiency in accounting and an interest in international taxation. A first experience in tax, accounting or financial audit is considered an asset. Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal skills combining analytical and synthesis capabilities, rigour, method, and solid deadline management. Humble, autonomous, organised, positive, sociable, and flexible personality with a strong team orientation. Excellent level of French and English; German is an asset.
