CHANEL is a dynamic and innovative player in the travel retail industry, committed to delivering exceptional experiences for its global customers. The Global Travel Retail Team is based in Geneva and operates in a highly international environment. The Business Analytics team within this division is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and analysing business activity and financial performance across global travel retail, supporting strategic decisions at both corporate and regional level. 1. Business Reporting: Elaborate monthly reports on global travel retail performance and develop ad hoc analyses upon management request. 2. Financial Analysis: Assist the department in building new transversal financial analyses such as dedicated P&Ls, analyse and challenge relevant KPIs, and follow up on key industry players' financial results. 3. Data Management: Cultivate and maintain partnerships with travel retail data providers, liaise with regional teams for consolidation of internal travel retail data, ensure integrity and reliability of data sources, review and validate data for accuracy and completeness, and participate in the development of new reporting tools in collaboration with IT teams. 4. Support and Collaboration: Assist the Global Travel Team with functional budget monitoring, support the Business Analytics team in daily operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and address ad hoc analysis requests from CHANEL colleagues. Bachelor's degree in a Business School or University (major in Finance is a plus). Proven experience in financial or business analysis or a similar role; prior experience in the luxury and/or travel retail industry is a plus. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Strong communication and collaboration skills with an agile mindset. Team player able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of written and verbal English communication skills required for interaction with international counterparts. Fluency in both French and English is required. An internship agreement is mandatory: the internship must be part of the candidate's study programme, required for the completion of their degree, and validated by the award of academic credits. Full-time, in-person internship (100% pensum) based in Geneva, running for 6 months from 4 January 2027, Monday to Friday.
