The Treasury Solutions Team sits within the Finance Department at Glencore's headquarters and is responsible for overseeing Treasury and Trade Finance systems, ensuring efficiency, sound controls, and continuous improvement. This is an early-career opportunity to join a collaborative team within a global commodity trading company. Perform daily control checks across relevant systems based on established control reports. Configure and maintain systems and monitor interfaces in accordance with documented manuals and procedures. Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and IT teams to resolve reported issues. Support daily and monthly operational tasks, including month-end reporting. Assist in Trade Finance and Treasury system integration, automation, and process advancement initiatives. Communicate and transform business requirements into well-structured, IT-oriented specifications. Support project delivery by coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and producing user guides, training materials, and release notes. Sound educational background in a commercial, banking, finance or IT related discipline (apprenticeship or bachelor's degree). Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in a Finance, Treasury, Trade Finance, Traffic, Accounting, or IT environment. Experience in project-related work is considered advantageous. Ability to gather and document requirements, produce process maps, and write clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Advanced computer and systems knowledge including CTRM, ERP, and logistics platforms. Proficient in MS Office, with knowledge of Treasury, Trade Finance or Accounting applications being an asset. Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken. Must hold a Swiss work permit or be a passport holder of CH, EU, or EFTA. Self-motivated, highly proactive, analytical, precise, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
