Beschreibung

The Global Impact Coalition (GIC) is a collaborative platform enabling the chemical industry to achieve a circular and net-zero emissions future. Incubated at the World Economic Forum, the GIC is led by key industry players including SABIC, Clariant, Covestro, LyondellBasell, Mitsubishi Chemical Group, Moeve, Syensqo, SUEZ and LG Chem. As the industry's first ever CEO and executive-led coalition, its members collaborate to address challenges that cannot be effectively tackled alone. The GIC provides a cross-industry platform to co-develop and scale-up new technologies and innovative business models to reduce carbon emissions and advance circularity along the value chain. Coordinate meetings, events and working group logistics, organising schedules, resources and on-the-day support. Support the GIC communications strategy across content creation, video editing, social media and outreach. Produce and maintain communications and marketing materials including presentations, reports, the website, institutional materials and event collateral (e.g. WEF Davos). Assist with media relations, helping prepare and pitch GIC stories. Help develop and deliver the GIC bi-monthly newsletter. Support community engagement for the wider GIC Community, coordinating events and operational requests. Maintain records and the CRM, keeping information accurate and up to date. Contribute to business development analysis and strategic assessments. Recently graduated in a relevant field of study (e.g. Business, Sustainability, Communications, Environmental Science). Previous internship experience in a business (sustainability, marketing) or consulting environment is highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is an asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and recent digital platforms. Comfort with CRM tools and project management software. Facility using evolving AI tools effectively. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Strong communication and organisational skills. Proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently. Eager to learn and integrate constructive feedback. Ability to conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced tools. Due to work authorisation requirements, candidates must hold an EU passport. A 6-month internship (with potential to extend into a permanent agreement) based in Geneva, Switzerland. The role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, senior-level environment at the intersection of communications, business development and operations. The intern will work closely with senior decision makers and project experts from member companies and strategic partners, gaining exposure to high-profile international industry initiatives including the World Economic Forum.
