The International Air Transport Association (IATA) represents over 350 airlines worldwide and works to make aviation safer, smarter, more sustainable, and more inclusive. IATA Certification is the global leader in assessment, auditing, and certification within the aviation industry, with programs internationally recognised as the benchmark for excellence in air transport standards and best practices. The Geneva-based Certification Administration team is responsible for the operational delivery and administration of IATA's certification services, covering contract management, financial operations, and internal coordination. Provide support across a broad range of administrative and operational tasks, including: supporting contract setup, coordinating approval and release; supporting customer order setup and timely billing activities (Order-to-Cash); processing purchase orders and supporting vendor onboarding and data updates (Procure-to-Pay); arranging and coordinating travel for onsite certification projects; monitoring ongoing activities and maintaining visibility of status and progress in internal systems, assisting with reporting; maintaining, organising, and updating records, databases, and documentation; contributing to continuous process improvements and maintaining up-to-date user guides; supporting compliance activities by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures; and providing proactive administrative support to internal stakeholders as needed. University degree in Business Administration or equivalent, with graduation within the last 12 months. Ability to perform as an effective team player in a multicultural working environment. Proven organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and efficient approach to issues. Hands-on attitude and eagerness to learn, with a willingness to tackle new challenges. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A 6-month internship contract, extendable to 11 months, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The role offers hands-on experience in administrative operations within a fast-paced, international environment at a globally recognised aviation organisation.
