The Switzerland IB Group, established in early 2024 and expanded in early 2025, offers a full range of investment banking services with a focus on M&A, operating out of Zurich. Performing financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses. Building and using financial models. Preparing pitchbooks and live deal materials such as management presentations and information memoranda. Conducting industry and product research. Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information. Participating in the execution of M&A, equity capital markets and equity-linked transactions. Working closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals. Contributing creatively and offering input to the team from day one. Excellent academic credentials and professional drive. Ability to work as part of a global team with a self-starting approach to problem solving. Strong quantitative skills, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, dedication and enthusiasm. Previous investment banking or corporate finance experience is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a passion for excellence. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in Swiss German is an advantage (fluency in both English and Swiss German is preferred). Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and handle a variety of projects simultaneously. A 3-month off-cycle internship in the Investment Banking division based in the Zurich office, with a start date of January or February 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience on active deal teams within a lean deal team structure, working directly with senior bankers. The role provides exposure to Jefferies' full range of premier investment banking products and leading industry expertise.
