The internship sits within Group Internal Consulting (GIC), part of Group COO, a dynamic and globally connected team of over 750 people across 5 regions. GIC works in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive transformation, solve complex business challenges and support the firm in achieving its strategic goals. The specific placement is within the Risk & Regulatory Practice.
Build an understanding of how internal consulting supports change in a global financial institution. Support projects focused on risk, regulatory and compliance-driven transformation initiatives across the firm. Contribute to the design and implementation of frameworks, processes and controls in response to evolving regulatory requirements. Synthesize and present insights by translating complex information into clear, impactful recommendations for stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-divisional and global teams to drive change in a highly regulated financial services environment. Gain exposure to other consulting practices through networking, observation and selected contributions to projects.
Has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree). Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills. Communicates clearly and can translate complex information into concise insights. Curious, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates a collaborative mindset and a high level of integrity and accountability. Ideally has initial exposure (coursework or internships) that demonstrates initiative, teamwork and intellectual curiosity. All majors welcome, but an interest in the financial industry is important.
