The Quantitative Risk Modelling (QRM) team in Zurich develops, refines, implements and maintains mathematical, statistical and risk model frameworks. As the firm is in the business of risk intermediation, it buys and sells financial risks across the globe and across time. Develop and maintain various quantitative models (e.g. banking and trading models, counterparty credit risk exposure models) in accordance with regulatory and business requirements. Develop prototype codes and testing tools for use in productive systems. Collaborate with quantitative analysts to share insights and develop global analysis frameworks. Work closely with cross-functional team members to improve digital products. Candidates must have completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree). Relevant skills in quantitative analysis and statistical models gained through courses, projects or work experience are required, as well as data analytics and programming skills (R, Python, SQL, VBA, SAS, Excel; C++ and Java are a plus). Candidates should be hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative, possess strong communication skills and strategic thinking, and be motivated to work in a high-demand, deadline-driven environment. The ability to demonstrate experimental and responsible use of AI to improve outcomes and efficiency is also expected.
