UEFA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Visualization and Analytics Intern to join its Finance / Controlling division for a 6-month internship based in Nyon, Switzerland (with up to one day per week working from home). The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real business use cases, supporting financial, operational and data-driven decision-making across UEFA's activities, while also contributing to the development of semantic data layers that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities. The internship is designed for recent graduates passionate about finance, data, analytics, and modern data platforms.
Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring clarity and usability for business stakeholders. Translating data into clear insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Supporting financial analysis activities, including budget tracking, variance analysis and performance monitoring. Collaborating with data engineers and business teams to ensure data quality, consistency and availability. Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of semantic models, supporting advanced analytics and AI-driven use cases. Contributing to the continuous improvement of UEFA's data models and reporting landscape.
Recent graduate (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) within maximum one year after completion of studies. Strong interest in finance and business performance analysis. Solid understanding of data analysis concepts such as working with datasets, identifying trends and basic statistics. Ability to connect data with business context and explain results clearly and transparently. Proficiency in data visualization and data analysis techniques. Advanced knowledge of Power BI including data modelling, DAX, semantic layer modelling and dashboard design. Working knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms. Experience with financial data or reporting is a plus. Fluent in English.
A 6-month fixed-term internship at UEFA's Finance / Controlling division in Nyon, with the flexibility of up to one day per week working from home.
