The FIFA Museum in Zurich celebrates and safeguards football heritage and culture to share the magic of the game with the world. Through exceptional exhibitions, unique original objects, fascinating stories, multimedia and interactive experiences, as well as cultural and educational programs, it serves as a lively and passionate platform for fans and visitors to connect with football history.
Handling rare collection items. Electronically recording and documenting existing objects in the Museum database and possibly inventorying new objects. Performing data cleaning of the Object Management database according to the previously created structure. Enriching existing data sets. Assisting in collection logistics. Taking part in the design and implementation of various Museum projects.
Currently enrolled as a student of museology, documentation studies or a similar subject. Experience or training in handling rare collection items. Experience or training with document and collection asset archiving systems, including digital asset management software. Previous training in collections management. Interest in football and football history, as well as in culturally and historically important objects and their management. Fluent in English and German (written and spoken); knowledge of any other FIFA language (French or Spanish) is an asset. Good computer skills and meticulous attention to detail.
A 6-month internship at the FIFA Museum in Zurich at a 60-80% workload. The role offers hands-on experience in heritage and collections management within an internationally renowned cultural institution dedicated to football history. Flexible start date, either immediately or by arrangement.
