The Swiss HR team in Zurich is part of the Wealth Management Division and plays a pivotal role in shaping company culture, fostering talent development, and ensuring employee well-being. Support all activities along the employee lifecycle, including coordinating interviews, onboarding, employee transfers, contractual changes, and departures. Write general correspondence such as work certificates, confirmations, and training agreements. Manage work permit requests and track temporary employees and visitors from abroad, including follow-up with authorities (Meldeverfahren, 120-day work permits). Provide general administrative support including updating Org Charts and HR Intranet sites, processing the HR shared mailbox, handling invoices, and organising the Welcome Day. Collaborate with HR Business Partners in Zurich and Geneva on various tasks across the Wealth Management Division. Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics. Support ad-hoc projects in close collaboration with the team. Currently enrolled as a student in business administration or a similar field. Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel. Genuine interest in people, teams, and HR topics. A first work experience is a plus. Fluent communication skills in both English and German (written and spoken). Proactive attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and reliability. Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with detail orientation and analytical thinking. A 9 to 12 month internship within the Swiss HR team at Rothschild & Co in Zurich, offering hands-on experience in a multinational financial services environment. Interns take on their own tasks and responsibilities alongside contributing to ongoing HR administration.
