Beschreibung
Oliver Wyman is a global management consultancy with strong relationships across industry, government, and non-profit organizations. The firm assembles diverse teams of experts to tackle complex client challenges, delivering breakthrough impact. Its inclusive, collaborative, and non-hierarchical culture encourages creative thinking and analytical rigor, making it both an ideal adviser for organizations and an exceptional environment for talented individuals to grow. Oliver Wyman is a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance, capital, people, investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
Interns work on 1 to 2 challenging client projects as full team members, taking responsibility for a distinct piece of work that contributes to breakthrough client impact. Much of the focus is on research and analysis, with potential opportunities to develop communication, presentation, and client-management skills. Interns are based in the Zurich office but may have the opportunity to travel for project work. Interns are expected to challenge the norm and contribute new thinking to shape the firm and its clients.
The internship is open to students in their 3rd or 4th year of studies. Candidates should demonstrate initiative, intuition, and creativity, with a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. No specific academic major or prior industry experience is required; diversity of experience and skills is valued. Extracurricular activities and evidence of leading an interesting and impactful life outside of studies are also valued. Fluency in both German and English (native or fluent level) is required.
Oliver Wyman offers a true taste of life as a consultant, providing unique preparation for a full-time role. Interns receive mentoring and coaching from partners, consultants, a dedicated buddy, a formal mentor, and an intern captain overseeing the program. The internship supports personal growth and development, and helps interns chart their post-graduate career course through an apprenticeship learning model. The firm fosters an open, inclusive, and down-to-earth culture where hierarchy does not get in the way. The role is based in the Zurich office with potential for project travel.
