TotalEnergies Gas & Power Ltd is a global energy company with a Power Trading Support back-office organisation operating across multiple locations including Geneva, Houston, Paris and Madrid. The team works at the intersection of energy trading and financial operations, covering complex financial and physical power products in the renewable energy space across Europe, including PPA contracts, financial swaps, CCGT contracts, biogas, environmental certificates, aggregation/market access, flexibility markets and batteries. Assist with daily validation (within 24 hours) of trades entered into the ETRM system, ensuring accurate trading information is represented; reconcile counterpart/TSO invoices against the system in liaison with Operations, Middle Office and Energy Data Management departments to resolve discrepancies; send invoices to counterparts within industry or contractual deadlines and ensure payment instructions are submitted to finance in a timely manner; assist the Accounting team with accruals, aged debt reporting and resolution; support documentation control, contract archiving and audit compliance tasks; communicate effectively with internal and external parties to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and queries; manage key responsibilities across the full trade lifecycle including deal confirmations, invoicing, payments and contract management. Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of the power and renewable energy business in France and Europe is desirable. High level of engagement, reliability and strong team-player mentality with the ability to work autonomously. Strong analytical and numerical skills with a problem-solving mindset and a drive to improve processes. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and efficiency under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are desirable. Strong adaptability to change in a complex environment. Good IT skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Power BI); VBA, Python or SQL knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication skills and customer service mentality. Only candidates with a Tri-partite agreement will be considered. Hands-on experience in energy trading operations with exposure to complex financial and physical power products in the European renewable business. Close collaboration with a wide range of internal teams including Originators, Traders, Operations, Middle Office, Energy Data Management, Legal & Compliance, Credit, Treasury, Trading Accounting and IT, as well as external counterparts.
