Julius Baer is a leading Swiss private banking group focused on wealth management. The Regional CFO team for Emerging Markets, reporting directly to the Group CFO, provides overall finance management to the region head. The team covers key front-office topics and requires a broad skillset spanning both analytical and interpersonal competencies. Act as a partner to the business through project management for product or finance-related requests (e.g. loans, subsidies, rates programmes, capital/funding analysis, pricing analysis). Maintain and improve the monitoring of initiatives with full responsibility for reconciliations. Support monthly financial reporting processes and provide commentary for Senior Management. Contribute to financial planning for the Region, Markets, and/or larger local legal entities. Work alongside the Corporate Development team on M&A projects. Conduct ad hoc finance deep dives and analysis for specific Senior Management requests (e.g. Net New Money, local business transformation plans, strategic finance developments). Assist financial planning through financial modelling and identify and drive implementation of ongoing enhancements for performance steering. University student at Bachelor or Master level, or recent graduate. Initial practical experience in finance, corporate finance, and/or wealth management is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with capacity for conceptual thinking. Proactive with the ability to work independently. Can-do attitude coupled with openness to challenges and willingness to learn. Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; German and other languages are an advantage.
