KPMG is a leading professional services firm offering a wide range of audit and advisory services. Its Deal Advisory – Valuation & Financial Modeling team in Zurich works with large international corporations and mid-market companies on complex valuation engagements, M&A transactions, and financial analyses. The team operates in a dynamic, international, and multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with specialists across transaction services, restructuring, accounting, tax, and legal. Support the team in performing company, intangible asset, and business valuations as well as financial and market analyses. Assist with financial modelling, market research, capital market analyses, and cost of capital assessments. Contribute to valuation engagements related to M&A transactions, fairness opinions, accounting matters, tax planning, and dispute resolution. Help analyze and value financial instruments including options, derivatives, and structured products under the guidance of experienced professionals. Prepare research, presentations, valuation reports, and client deliverables for a wide range of projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transaction services, restructuring, accounting, tax, and legal specialists. Support business development activities including proposal preparation, market analyses, and other marketing initiatives. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with strong academic performance. Strong interest in corporate valuation, financial modelling, M&A, and capital markets. Initial experience with financial analysis and modelling through coursework, internships, student projects, or extracurricular activities. Analytical mindset with the ability to work with financial data and assess complex business situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international and multidisciplinary environment. High level of curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail, combined with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Fluency in German and English.
