Act as the central implementation resource for AI and automation initiatives within Finance and serve as the primary interface to the firm's central AI team. Collaborate with Finance, Controlling and Local Accounting teams to understand existing processes and translate opportunities for process optimization into practical AI and automation solutions. Design, build, test and maintain automation solutions using tools such as workflow automation tools, AI-based assistants, agents and other digital technologies. Monitor implemented solutions and identify opportunities for further enhancements. Participate in Finance-wide digital transformation projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls. The role is full-time during semester breaks and approximately 2-3 working days per week during studies. Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance or a related field. Theoretical understanding and first practical experience with modern Generative AI tools and concepts, including AI assistants (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude), AI agents, prompt engineering and AI-enabled workflow automation. Initial hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, AI agents and low-code/no-code solutions; knowledge of Python, SQL or similar technologies is an advantage. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong English and German language skills. Proactive, self-motivated and service-oriented personality with a hands-on implementation mindset. Minimum commitment of 18 months. No visa sponsorship available.
