Partners Group is a global financial institution that retains the culture, pace and agility of a start-up. They are seeking a 6-month intern to join their growing Institutional Client Team in Zug, Switzerland, covering Germany and Austria. The role sits within the Client Solutions Team and focuses on supporting client acquisition and maintenance efforts across the team and the firm, with exposure to private markets and institutional client relationships. Supporting client relationship managers in preparing for client meetings and due diligence sessions, including compiling persuasive, bespoke marketing presentations and investment proposals, and coordinating with internal stakeholders. Creating tailored, high-quality responses to client requests and performance updates. Coordinating and liaising with various teams and specialists within the firm to address client inquiries. Producing written market updates and summaries of investment activity. Supporting processes related to requests for proposals (RFPs) and providing well-justified inputs. Engaging in business development initiatives and conducting market research on various client target groups. Undergraduate university degree with outstanding academic results. Good understanding of the financial services industry, gained through internships within private markets, investment banking or consulting. Native German speaker with excellent skills in both spoken and written English (hard requirement). Required prior internship experience in private markets, consulting, M&A, or investment banking. Ability to problem solve with a client-focused mindset and willingness to work towards tight deadlines in a challenging environment. Exceptional attention to detail. Confident and comfortable communicating with teams and individuals across all levels. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as a strong desire to learn and succeed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Competitive compensation with daily lunch allowance.
