Richemont is a global luxury goods group whose Regional Finance function supports its Maisons in entering new markets and focusing on design, creation, sales and marketing. The Internal Control Intern joins the Europe Region finance team based at the Campus Genevois de Haute Horlogerie in Meyrin, Geneva. The role supports the growing compliance and internal control requirements of the European legal entity responsible for wholesale business, coordinating across all watches and jewellery Maisons and seven European markets (UK, France, Iberia, Italy, Switzerland, Benelux, Northern Europe) covering Retail, E-commerce and partner distribution. The intern reports to the Senior Internal Control Specialist Europe and works closely with local Internal Control and Retail Back-office teams, Brands' Europe Management, Group and Regional functions, and internal and external auditors. Support internal control activities for the legal entity: review and maintain controls and risks matrices, perform subsequent testing and issue reporting to Group management. Review system access rights and segregation of duties, and ensure mitigations are in place. Prepare and supervise annual stock counts for warehouses and wholesaler stocks. Support management in ad-hoc initiatives aimed at strengthening compliance for the local and Europe internal control community. Document or provide guidelines for documenting processes, procedures and user guides. Support continuous improvement and digitalisation by developing automation and reporting solutions to improve control design and process efficiency. Maintain clear communication by animating the Europe Internal Control SharePoint. Currently pursuing a Master's degree or recently graduated from a Business or Engineering School, with a strong willingness to enter the internal control field. Proficient in data manipulation tools including Excel, Power Query/BI and VBA, with an understanding of the impact of master data management on daily operations. Strong team spirit, proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated by problem solving and continuous improvement. High attention to detail and strong observational skills. Ability to see the big picture and summarise findings. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise based on team feedback.
