The Pharma Technical Development team in Basel works on strategic projects at the intersection of pharmaceutical operations, communications, and data management, fostering an agile and inclusive working culture where every voice matters.
Develop and implement internal communication strategies to convey site stories across Pharma Technical Operations. Support the launch of a department newsletter and co-create engaging content for internal channels including Town Halls, digital platforms, and collaborative spaces. Audit, clean, and standardize active communication distribution lists, merging duplicates and establishing uniform naming conventions to ensure seamless internal connectivity. Author clear documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ongoing distribution list management and directory data governance. Partner with department stakeholders and cross-functional squads to verify communication needs, align messaging, and provide subject matter expertise. Support end-to-end project management, calendar logistics, and content creation for high-impact communication workstreams.
Current student or recent graduate (within the last 12 months) of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Must be available to commit to a full-time, 6-month term. Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets for data filtering, deduplication, and analysis. Comfort or familiarity navigating digital workspace environments such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to securely manage internal directory information. Foundational understanding of project planning, critical thinking, and a structured approach to managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in written and spoken English. Prior internship or initial work experience in a communications-related field is a plus. Familiarity with basic HTML formatting is a plus. Non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a university certificate confirming the internship is a mandatory requirement for their degree; students must maintain active enrollment for the entire internship duration. This position is not suitable for writing a university thesis.
