Support all activities along the employee lifecycle, including coordinating interviews, onboarding, employee transfers, contractual changes, and offboarding. Write general correspondence such as work certificates, confirmations, and training agreements. Manage work permit requests and track temporary employees and visitors from abroad, including follow-up with authorities (Meldeverfahren, 120-day work permits). Provide general administrative support: updating Org Charts and HR Intranet sites, processing the HR shared mailbox, handling invoices, and organising the Welcome Day. Collaborate with HR Business Partners in Zurich and Geneva on tasks across all departments of the Wealth Management Division. Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics. Contribute to ad-hoc projects in close collaboration with the HR team.
Currently enrolled as a student in business administration or a similar field. Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel. Fluent in English and German (written and spoken). Genuine passion for HR and people. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with analytical thinking abilities. Proactive attitude with initiative, reliability, and attention to detail. A first working experience is a plus.
A 9 to 12-month internship within the Swiss HR team at Rothschild & Co in Zurich, offering hands-on experience in a multinational financial services environment.
