Support actuarial studies by compiling the necessary data, performing statistical analysis and presenting results. Execute individual pricings and projects. Contribute to Alternative Solutions pricing tool development. Participate in internal workshops and trainings, including introduction into reinsurance treaty pricing and the pricing tool xAct. Provide reinsurance treaty pricing support during the main renewals. Support initiatives around Pricing Excellence with a focus on data analytics. Leverage expertise in the programming language Python. University degree in statistics, mathematics, physics, or a similar quantitative subject. Profound expertise in the programming language Python with solid programming experience. Good knowledge of code collaboration tools such as GIT and agile working principles. Curious mind-set, team player attitude and appetite for continuous learning in an international context. Clear communicator able to convey complex methods, analyses and ideas to a broad variety of stakeholders. Able to withstand pressure and complete tasks within deadlines. Positive attitude to address challenges. Citizen of an EU country or eligible to work full-time in Switzerland with a respective work permit. Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus. This is a 12-month fixed-term trainee contract based in Zurich, reporting to the Head of Pricing Alternative Solutions, starting September 1, 2026.
