Skyguide is Switzerland's air navigation service provider, headquartered in Geneva. The Finance department supports key accounting and financial reporting processes across the organisation. The internship sits within the Accounting team and reports to the Accounting Manager under the supervision of senior accountants. Accounting period closing activities: provide support on General Ledger (GL) accounting, cash application, analyse automated accruals, and book accounting entries in SAP. Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations, investigate and remediate discrepancies. Record and reconcile prepaid expenses. Support the preparation of the periodic financial reporting package (Financial Statements and analytical schedules). Projects: implement analysis on the P2P process in the context of a new SAP implementation, support treasury back-office, redesign the monthly closing reconciliations based on requirements from the Accounting Manager and drive implementation (organise trainings, monitor quality). Review and maintain SOP documentation and Internal Control System documentation. Perform other duties as required including ad-hoc analysis and specific projects. Pursuing or recently completed a Master's (or Bachelor's) degree in Finance. Previous working experience is a plus. Good level of proficiency in Excel. Flexibility: ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, remain open to new ideas and feedback, and step in where needed to support the team. Teamwork: ability to engage with diverse team members and actively contribute information, ideas, and insights. Continuous learning mindset: curiosity and proactive engagement in learning opportunities with transfer of acquired knowledge to daily work.
