The Villars Institute is a nonprofit foundation based in Gland, Vaud, Switzerland, dedicated to accelerating the transition to a net zero economy and restoring the health of the planet. It collaborates with institutional partners across different domains worldwide, bringing together artists, experts, entrepreneurs, educators, and learners for online and in-person community activities in the alpine village of Villars-sur-Ollon, Canton Vaud. The institute operates with a hybrid working model blending in-office, remote, and on-the-go work. Its focus areas include planetary boundaries, climate and energy transition, nature and biodiversity, science and technology, and the arts. Support the coordination and publication of content across the Villars Institute's social media platforms. Assist in maintaining the social media communications calendar and scheduling content. Support planning, coordination, and monitoring of digital advertising campaigns. Coordinate the preparation of communication assets for digital campaigns. Support the maintenance and updating of content across Villars Institute websites. Assist with the creation and publication of webpages and digital content. Coordinate the creation of visual communication materials for social media, presentations, reports, publications, learning programs, campaigns, and events. Support communications coordination with external agencies, designers, photographers, writers, video producers, and other creative partners. Assist in developing and maintaining the Villars Institute's media and press contact database. Support communications activities related to institutional events, workshops, and conferences. Assist with the preparation of communications analytics and performance reports. Contribute to maintaining consistency of the Villars Institute's visual identity and branding across all communications channels. Swiss nationality or a valid Swiss work permit. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university or higher education institution in Communications, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field. Excellent written communicator in English; additional languages are an asset. Curious, creative, and eager to learn. Well organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar), Microsoft 365, and major social media platforms. Comfortable learning new digital tools, website content management systems, and AI-powered communication tools. A 6-month paid internship with a hybrid working arrangement (in-office, remote, and on-the-go). The opportunity to gain practical experience in digital communications across social media, websites, digital content, branding, publications, and institutional initiatives.
