TotalEnergies is seeking a Trade Support Analyst Intern to join the Global Trading Support organisation in Geneva. The role is part of a team integral to the trading floor and supports trading functions in Houston and Singapore. The position operates in a fast-paced, challenging trading environment within the energy sector. Assist in managing a portfolio of trading counterparts. Ensure daily accuracy of trading information in the in-house trading system (the BOOK) by checking recap/nomination/contract/confirmation. Confirm deals with counterparts and brokers daily. Chase and comment outstanding confirmations. Ensure deals are linked to legal contracts. Process and send sales invoices to counterparts in line with contractual terms. Process purchase invoices and submit payment instructions to finance timely. Reconcile outstanding items with counterparts. Assist with Back Office queries from internal and external parties. Support general Back Office duties including emailing, archiving and filing. Support system development testing. Participate in team and individual projects delegated by the Global Back Office Manager. Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory obligations. Currently enrolled in a Master programme in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics or related discipline. High degree of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Strong drive for results and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritise and organise daily workloads. Ability to work within a team and individually when necessary. Proactive with good communication skills. Knowledge of energy commodity markets desirable. European languages desirable; English is mandatory. Tri-partite internship agreement is mandatory. Internship position offering exposure to a challenging global trading environment with involvement in trading floor activities and project-related work.
