The Wealth Management Team Central Europe, based in Zurich, focuses on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in Bulgaria, former Yugoslavia, and Romania. UBS fosters a collaborative, inclusive culture and uses AI to work smarter and more efficiently. Develop into a successful Relationship Manager through the 18-month Associate Program, reaching or exceeding financial and educational targets. Build up a client book from an existing personal network of wealthy individuals in Central Europe, with a focus on Bulgaria, former Yugoslavia, and Romania. Establish long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships. Continuously grow the network through referrals and identification of new prospects. Acquire the necessary knowledge and sales skills to deliver the UBS value proposition to clients, including timely completion of mandatory trainings and the WM Certificate. Participate in parallel off-the-job education to gain business-specific knowledge while maintaining a strong on-the-job focus on client development. Bachelor or Master degree from a leading university or business school with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience. Good understanding of and strong interest in financial markets, with in-depth market knowledge of the Central European region, particularly Bulgaria, former Yugoslavia, and Romania, and a convincing network of HNW and UHNW individuals. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills. A natural networker and skilled relationship builder. Membership of a club, alumni network, or involvement in entrepreneurial activities is valued. Ability to work collaboratively as a team player while being independent enough to plan own activities and execute a business plan. Experience in Wealth Management services is welcome but not required. Fluency in English and at least one language spoken in the focus region. Curiosity to explore how AI can improve workflows, with sound judgment in validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use. An 18-month Wealth Management Associate Program that extends skills and provides a unique experience in Wealth Management, establishing a platform for accelerated career development in a client-facing role.
