UEFA is the governing body of European football and is headquartered in Nyon, Switzerland. Its Finance division is responsible for financial controlling, reporting, and performance monitoring across UEFA's wide range of activities. The division is currently evolving its data capabilities toward AI-ready ecosystems, leveraging modern cloud data platforms and semantic modelling to support advanced analytics and business decision-making.
Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring clarity and usability for business stakeholders. Translating data into clear insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Supporting financial analysis activities, including budget tracking, variance analysis and performance monitoring. Collaborating with data engineers and business teams to ensure data quality, consistency and availability. Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of semantic models, supporting advanced analytics and AI-driven use cases. Contributing to the continuous improvement of UEFA's data models and reporting landscape.
Recent graduate (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) within maximum one year after completion of studies. Strong interest in finance and business performance analysis. Solid understanding of data analysis concepts (e.g. working with datasets, identifying trends, basic statistics). Ability to connect data with business context and explain results clearly and transparently. Proficiency in data visualization and data analysis techniques. Advanced knowledge of Power BI (data modelling, DAX, semantic layer modelling, dashboard design). Working knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms. Experience with financial data or reporting is a plus. Fluent in English.
A 6-month fixed-term internship within UEFA's Finance division, based in Nyon, Switzerland, with the possibility of working from home up to one day per week.
