Intern Regional CFO Emerging Markets 100% (f/m/d) - 6-12months

Julius Baer is a leading global wealth management bank. The regional CFO team for Emerging Markets provides overall finance management to the region head related to key front topics and requires a broad skillset from both analytical and interpersonal level. Act as partner to the business and manage projects for product or finance related requests such as loans, subsidies, rates programs, capital and funding analysis, and pricing analysis. Maintain and improve the monitoring of initiatives with full responsibility for reconciliations. Support monthly financial reporting processes and provide commentary for Senior Management. Contribute towards financial planning for the Region and Markets and larger local legal entities. Work alongside Corporate Development team on M&A projects. Conduct ad hoc finance analysis for specific senior management requests such as Net New Money and local business transformation plans. Drive transformation projects for strategic finance topics, assist financial planning through financial modelling, and identify and drive implementation of ongoing enhancements for performance steering. University student at Bachelor or Master level or recent graduate. Initial practical experience in finance, corporate finance, and/or wealth management is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity for conceptual thinking. Proactive with ability to work independently. Can-do attitude coupled with openness to challenges and willingness to learn. Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English required (spoken and written). German and other languages are meritorious. 6 to 12 months internship at 100% pensum in the regional CFO team for Emerging Markets at Bank Julius Baer & Co. AG in Zürich. Opportunity to work on strategic finance topics, project management, financial modelling, and M&A projects alongside the Corporate Development team. Support from senior management and exposure to key finance functions.
