About

Decathlon Switzerland is a fast-growing retail group targeting over 50 stores and approximately 500M CHF in GMV by 2026. To support this expansion, the finance function is undergoing a major transformation, including the rollout of Workday as its new ERP system. The Accounts Payable team in Bussigny (or Geneva) is looking for a dynamic, German-speaking junior professional on a one-year fixed-term contract (CDD) to support the transition and own the day-to-day accounts payable operations. Be responsible for the accounts payable (AP) process within the local perimeter. Ensure daily processing of invoices, reminders, and email management. Serve as the point of contact and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Ensure on-time payment to suppliers. Actively contribute to the implementation of key internal purchase-to-pay projects and ensure compliance with group and local standards. Ensure quick resolution of blocked invoices (double flow, hold, cashout) and payment issues. Provide support on various administrative tasks and progressively integrate into monthly accounting closing activities. Act as a key player in change management related to the ERP rollout and provide training to operational teams on the new Purchase to Pay process in Workday. English proficiency is mandatory (non-negotiable). German is a strong plus given the Swiss-German perimeter focus; French is a bonus. A foundation in accounting is required. Comfort with IT tools such as Excel and Google Sheets is essential, along with an eagerness to become a Workday expert. Willingness and ability to train and support operational teams. Adaptability and a positive attitude in a changing environment. Autonomy and ability to handle high invoice volumes. The role is open to both interns and junior graduates, with a maximum salary of 6,000 CHF per month (12-month basis). A one-year fixed-term contract (CDD) based in Geneva or Bussigny. Front-row involvement in a major ERP (Workday) transformation — a significant career asset. Real responsibility from Day 1. Maximum salary of 6,000 CHF per month on a 12-month basis, plus a monthly bonus of up to 10% starting from the fourth month. 30 days of vacation. Flexible working and a sport-first company culture. 2 days of remote work per week possible.
