The Performance Improvement and Restructuring team within Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory collaborates with experts from legal, tax, and regulatory services to deliver tailored solutions to clients facing complex financial and operational challenges. Support the core team in addressing client challenges with practical, hands-on solutions including performance improvement, strategic option analyses, managed exits, refinancings, and legal entity consolidations. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and develop insights. Draft input to client reports such as status updates and restructuring options, and prepare financial analyses for shareholders, financing institutions, or regulators. Help project manage timelines, costs, resources, and deliverables. Support business development activities and quality/risk procedures. Share ideas and investigative insights to drive projects forward and take ownership of individual deliverables. Master's degree or close to completion of an advanced academic programme with a focus on finance, banking, business administration, accounting, economics, or law. At least 1 year of work experience in strategy, transformation, transaction services, management consulting, or a similar field at consultant level. Strong understanding of financial statements and confident use of Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in German and English with knowledge of financial terminology; French or other languages are a plus. Strong listening and communication skills, ability to explain complex matters clearly, and an open-minded approach to working with AI tools.
