Its global headquarters are located in Baar, Zug, Switzerland, where its Executive Board, Group functions (finance, compliance, sustainability) and marketing departments for metals, minerals and coal are based. The Commercial Graduate Programme is based within Glencore's dynamic trading environment at its Baar headquarters and is designed to develop the next generation of commercial professionals within the firm. Provide front-line commercial support within areas including Logistics, Traffic, Risk, Middle Office, LME Desk Support and Business Development, with opportunities to rotate across functions. Work directly alongside industry experts and commercial teams with individual responsibility from day one. Participate in internal rotations to understand different functions of the business. Engage in best-in-class training on topics such as trading, traffic, finance, business analytics, networking and public speaking. Work with an assigned mentor to build an understanding of company culture and develop a network across the organisation. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in STEM, Finance, Economics or a similar field. Available to start anytime from January through to December 2026. Open, flexible and team-oriented personality with interdisciplinary thinking and a solution-oriented working attitude. Proficiency with IT applications including advanced Excel and data-analysis tools; experience with Power BI and Python is desirable. Self-driven with a positive attitude, willing to embrace a diversity of tasks and responsibilities. Aims to improve processes and procedures to maximise efficiency. High attention to detail and process-oriented. Strong time management and organisational skills. Able to work and communicate effectively with people from various backgrounds inside and outside the company.
