The Global IT Controlling team, based at Hilti's headquarters in Buchs (SG), Switzerland, sits within a Finance and Controlling community of more than 500 colleagues and operates in a region where Liechtenstein, Austria, and Switzerland intersect, with over 2,100 colleagues from 70 nationalities. Support the Global IT Controlling team with monthly operational controlling tasks across the IT portfolio. Help identify, design, and implement process improvements within IT Controlling. Develop or enhance automation solutions such as dashboards, templates, macros, and workflows to streamline recurring tasks. Support efforts to improve data quality, reporting structures, and process documentation. Contribute to initiatives that enhance project planning and portfolio analysis tools. Interact with team leads, product owners, and project managers to provide transparency on actual and forecasted cost developments. Keep project and portfolio information up to date and support the further development of controlling approaches. Review investment proposals from a controlling perspective, perform in-depth analyses, and provide clear recommendations to improve cost efficiency and transparency for strategic initiatives and projects. Create and lead initiatives focused on the continuous improvement of controlling processes. Current or completed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and interest in process optimization. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory); experience with Power BI, VBA, Python, or other automation tools is an advantage. Proactive and organized working style with the ability to manage tasks independently. Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to improve existing processes. Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with global IT stakeholders. Fluency in English required. Previous internship experience is a plus. Non-EU/EFTA citizens must hold a valid Swiss or Liechtenstein work permit. A role within Hilti's global Finance and Controlling community of over 500 colleagues.
