The Consumer Group within Corporate Finance is based in Zurich and focuses on M&A advisory and capital-raising assignments for companies in the Consumer sector. Note: Houlihan Lokey Switzerland AG does not provide bank or securities brokerage services and is not subject to FINMA supervision. Support corporate finance engagements for companies within the Consumer M&A advisory team in Zurich. Assist with sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the Consumer sector. Research and analyse financial statements, general economic conditions, and industry-specific developments. Analyse acquisitions, divestitures, and investment attributes of publicly traded and private companies. Gain in-depth knowledge of capital raisings and financing structures. Work alongside a dedicated team of professionals, gaining broad exposure to issues affecting companies and investors, and interact with senior-level professionals on live engagements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both German and English (additional language skills are advantageous). Must have already graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or be in the final year of university graduating in Summer 2026. Available to start full-time employment in 2026. Ideally 6+ months of internship experience in M&A, private equity, or other relevant industries. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications. Strong financial and computer skills, including proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and drive to achieve the highest standards of performance. A collegial and entrepreneurial work environment at a leading global investment bank. Substantial responsibilities from day one with direct interaction with senior-level professionals. Exposure to live M&A and capital markets engagements within the Consumer sector. Broad experience across mergers and acquisitions, capital solutions, and financial advisory.
