The Group Internal Consulting team, part of the firm's Group Integration Office, is a dynamic and diverse team of over 750 people across 5 regions. It works in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive transformation and change across UBS, supporting the firm in achieving its strategic goals by delivering high-quality consulting services and leveraging institutional knowledge. Propose ideas on how to make improvements to the business and bring them to life. Problem-solve and craft actionable solutions across transformation and integration projects. Present insights internally by transforming complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations. Write code in Python and build solutions using common libraries and frameworks. Manage project timelines, stakeholders, and risks. Develop business acumen and a consulting skillset to advise internal clients across the firm. Build and maintain strong relationships within the Solutions team, Group Functions, and Business Divisions. Candidates should have values aligned with UBS: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative. A strategic thinker with strong communication skills is required, along with the motivation to work in a high-demand environment with tight deadlines. The ability to demonstrate experimental and responsible use of AI to improve outcomes and efficiency is important. All academic majors are welcome, but an interest in the financial industry is essential. Understanding of ML algorithms (e.g. XGBoost, Neural Networks) and learning techniques (e.g. supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning) is expected, as well as the ability to write code in Python using common libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and spaCy.
