The role sits within Group Technology, specifically in the software localization team in Zurich, which shapes world-class multilingual user experiences for UBS Digital Banking. The team is made up of passionate language experts dedicated to making UBS products and services accessible, intuitive and engaging across languages and markets. Translate content from English and German into French, crafting clear, natural and genuinely human user experiences with support from the team. Help shape a consistent voice, tone and terminology across digital products to ensure a seamless experience for users. Develop and manage the multilingual terminology database, collaborating with team members to ensure accurate, up-to-date and consistent terminology across languages. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of UX writers, localization professionals, designers, engineers and business stakeholders. Explore and leverage CAT tools, AI tools and new technologies, especially to support terminology extraction and validation. The role focuses primarily on translation (around 50%) and terminology management (around 40%), complemented by work involving language tools, technology and innovation initiatives. Has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree), preferably in translation or a related field. Competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system. Native French speaker with excellent English and German skills; additional language skills such as Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese or Chinese are a plus. Outstanding localization and editing skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to critically evaluate content for accuracy, engagement and fit for purpose. Strong interest in multilingual terminology and terminology database management. Experience with CAT tools and AI-powered language tools. Commitment to staying up to date with the latest developments in AI and best practices in post-editing. Strategic thinker with strong communication skills, able to work under high demands and tight deadlines. Sensitive to the needs of audiences from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
