This role is part of the Private Infrastructure team at Partners Group, a global financial institution headquartered in Baar, Zug, Switzerland. The team operates as a direct investment team applying a value-add investment framework across the Energy, Transportation, TMT and Social infrastructure sectors in Europe. Partners Group retains the culture, pace and agility of a start-up while operating at global scale.
Support the Infrastructure Directs team on all aspects of sourcing and execution of private infrastructure investment opportunities. This includes modeling business plans, LBO structures and investment returns; participating actively in due diligence workstreams on prospective investments covering financial, commercial, tax and legal due diligence; drafting internal investment recommendation documents; conducting tasks related to opportunity sourcing, market research, product reporting and marketing; and implementing value creation plans alongside management while supporting investment teams in the monitoring of existing investments.
Top-performing student at a leading university, ideally with a focus on Engineering, Economics, Finance or Business Administration. High energy level with a strong passion to learn and succeed, an impeccable work ethic and professional demeanor. Initial experience in Private Equity, M&A, Strategy Consulting, Leveraged Finance or Transaction Services is expected. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills are required, along with strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong teamwork skills within international settings. English is the working language; additional European languages are a plus.
