Support Investment Counsellor Analysts (ICAs) on all administrative tasks including CIP/AIP reports, CRM reports, Sales Quality Standard issues, updating spreadsheets and presentations. Prepare account reviews alongside ICAs and help Investment Counsellors (ICs) prepare for client meetings. Assist with preparation of business trips and follow-up after trips. Gain thorough knowledge of asset classes and investment products. Act as an efficient back-up for ICAs in their absence. Pro-actively review and prepare investment proposals to clients in cooperation with ICAs. Perform investment initiatives including preparation of materials for product campaigns, switches, pitch book generation, portfolio optimizations, and weekly IC/RM meetings. Follow up on recommendations such as limit orders, entry points, and executions. Advise on corporate actions with guidance from ICs. Learn the basics of asset allocation and portfolio optimization. Liaise with product specialists for bond and equity lists, research, and other needs. Execute market orders in Avaloq. Analyse portfolios and select products from the bank's offering. Maintain a strong level of general financial knowledge. Attend Market Strategy Focus and Regional Sales meetings. Currently enrolled in a master's degree program at a Swiss school, graduating in 2027. Available to work full-time from February 2027 to July 2027. Swiss or EU citizen, or holder of a valid Swiss work permit. Excellent organisation and communication skills. Strong multitasking abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Visual Basic, PowerPoint). Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail. Risk-conscious, particularly on the trading side. Team player with a high-achieving, positive attitude. High capacity to handle stress and a keen sense of urgency. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. A 6-month full-time placement within HSBC's Global Private Banking division in Geneva, starting 1 February 2027. Practical, hands-on experience complementing academic studies.
