Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP) is an investment boutique based in Zurich, Switzerland, specialised in private equity investments in the energy infrastructure sector, covering assets ranging from wind farms to electricity grids. EIP is growing rapidly and expanding its focus to global investment activities, offering an empowering, technology-driven work environment. Support the investments team throughout the entire investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to execution and closing of transactions. Support asset managers in measuring and creating shareholder value in existing portfolio companies. Develop and maintain financial models used for reporting and valuation of portfolio companies. Perform independent research on specific markets and investment opportunities. Contribute to company-wide initiatives aimed at business growth and efficiency. Students in their penultimate or final year of study at top-tier business schools or universities, or recent graduates in finance, economics, engineering, or equivalent advanced training (CFA, CIIA, CAIA, or progress towards these). Relevant internship experience in investment banking/M&A, private equity, consulting, project finance, or energy/utilities is a plus. Familiarity with corporate finance, financial modelling, and the energy industry. Strong analytical skills, high motivation, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in English is required; (Swiss-)German is a plus. Six-month rolling internship in EIP's investments team, with earliest start date in August 2026. Mentoring from an experienced line manager and direct exposure to senior management.
