Citi is a global financial institution hiring intern analysts to join its Markets team in Zurich. The Markets division provides clients with investment opportunities across equities, commodities, credit, futures, FX, and structured products, buying, selling, and structuring investments on their behalf. The off-cycle intern analyst program runs for six months starting in July/August 2026. Successful interns may be considered for a place in Citi's full-time Graduate program at the end of the internship.
Collect market information to assist the team with competition monitoring and product pricing analysis. Monitor the lifecycle of financial products. Help structure and issue more than 100 new structured products every week. Develop VBA-based solutions to increase operational efficiency. Support the sales team in delivering best-in-class Investor Services.
Currently enrolled in a university pursuing or finishing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or undertaking a Gap Year in the final year of a degree. Good understanding of finance with a strong interest in Markets. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of programming languages, particularly VBA, is desirable. Fluency in English is required; German, Italian, and/or French are considered a plus. Strong communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Intellectual curiosity, proactive approach, commitment to personal growth, integrity, and ethical decision-making.
