Julius Baer is a leading wealth management firm. This internship is with the regional CFO team for Emerging Markets, reporting to the Group CFO, providing overall finance management to the region head on key financial topics.
Act as partner to the business by managing projects for product or finance-related requests such as loans, subsidies, rates programs, capital/funding analysis, and pricing analysis. Maintain and improve monitoring of initiatives with full responsibility for reconciliations. Support monthly financial reporting processes and provide commentary for Senior Management. Contribute towards financial planning for the Region and Markets. Work alongside Corporate Development team on M&A projects. Conduct ad hoc finance deep dives and analysis for senior management requests. Drive transformation projects for strategic finance topics through financial modelling and identify implementation of ongoing enhancements.
University student at Bachelor or Master level, or recent graduate. Initial practical experience in finance, corporate finance, and/or wealth management is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with capacity for conceptual thinking. Proactive with ability to work independently. Proficient user in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. German and other languages are advantageous.
6-12 month internship at 100% pensum with the regional CFO team for Emerging Markets at Julius Baer in Zurich. Opportunity to work on strategic finance topics, financial planning, M&A projects, and transformation initiatives while supporting a senior finance team.
