KPMG Switzerland is a leading audit and advisory firm offering over 300 different service opportunities across auditing, advisory, and business transformation. The Valuation & Financial Modelling team, part of Deal Advisory in Geneva (Vernier), assists clients in creating, growing, and preserving value in connection with M&A, joint ventures, post-merger integrations, restructurings, and disputes. The team works with large international corporations as well as mid-market firms, frequently in an international environment, and collaborates closely with other KPMG experts including due diligence, restructuring, accounting, tax, and legal specialists. Conduct valuations of companies and intangible assets, and perform financial analyses, market research, and capital market and cost of capital analyses. Develop complex, integrated financial models. Participate in engagements such as fairness opinions, pricing analyses for M&A transactions, valuations for accounting and tax planning purposes, and arbitrations. Value complex financial instruments including options, derivatives, complex debt instruments, and structured products. Work together with large international corporations and mid-market firms in international settings. Actively interact with clients and cooperate with other KPMG experts across due diligence, restructuring, accounting, tax, and legal disciplines. Assist in proposal work and marketing initiatives. Master's degree with a major in finance or accounting. First professional experience in corporate finance within an international environment is a plus. Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a prerequisite. Strong numerical, analytical, and modelling skills, with sound knowledge of financial analysis and traditional valuation methods (e.g., DCF, multiples) and attention to detail. Knowledge of valuation methods for securities (e.g., options, derivatives) and modelling techniques such as Monte-Carlo simulations or lattice models is a plus. Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to set priorities in a complex and demanding environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, English, and German; additional language knowledge is a plus.
