L.E.K.'s Zurich office offers Associate Interns exposure to multiple industry sectors and a wide variety of commercial challenges in a collaborative, team-based environment. Associate Interns are integral to the success of L.E.K. project teams. Working under the guidance of an experienced senior team, responsibilities include: conducting primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, and customers; performing rigorous strategic and financial analyses using leading-edge software and techniques to develop a deep understanding of commercial issues; collaborating with team members to identify trends, draw conclusions, and develop insights; and transforming those insights into actionable recommendations for clients. Candidates should be on track for a 2:1 degree or above (or equivalent). Successful applicants typically demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, comfort with quantitative analysis, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English (fluency in both is required). Relevant professional experience and notable extracurricular interests are expected. Fluency in an additional European language is considered an asset. L.E.K. recruits from a wide range of disciplines in both arts and sciences and does not require existing technical skills. Candidates should show intellectual curiosity, logical and structured thinking, creativity, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment.
