The ESG Research & Analytics team is part of the Investment Risk & Data Analytics department and partners with investment teams, the Responsible Investing team, and other internal and external stakeholders to strengthen ESG risk and data management within investment processes. Test and validate new workflows for sustainability data delivery, ensuring robustness, consistency, and scalability. Contribute to the design and implementation of data quality controls across multiple ESG datasets, including monitoring of data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Support the improvement and maintenance of existing ESG models used to analyse environmental and social exposures for classified funds, ensuring data integrity and methodological consistency across all asset classes. Contribute to ESG data governance by documenting data definitions, lineage, and controls, and ensuring alignment with internal data standards and metadata frameworks. Collaborate with portfolio managers, investment teams, and other stakeholders to support the integration of ESG criteria into investment decision-making processes. Conduct data exploration and analysis to generate value-added insights, and actively participate in the validation and challenge of ESG data providers and methodologies. Master's degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline (e.g. Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering) or in Finance is preferred. Keen interest in Sustainable Finance and ESG principles, with an ability to apply new approaches and technologies. Previous experience in data manipulation and analysis through APIs, SQL, and Python, as well as data visualisation tools (Tableau is a plus). Proactive and capable of working independently, taking ownership of assigned topics. Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, strong engagement, and a continuous improvement mindset. Strong desire to learn, with energy, good presentation skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Excellent analytical skills with a high regard for detail and quality. Fluent in English; French is an additional advantage. Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
