The internship is based in Geneva and sits within the Finance department, reporting to the Accounting Manager under the supervision of senior accountants. Support General Ledger (GL) accounting, cash application, analysis of automated accruals, and booking of accounting entries in SAP. Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations, investigate and remediate discrepancies. Record and reconcile prepaid expenses. Support the preparation of periodic financial reporting packages including Financial Statements and analytical schedules. Implement analysis on the P2P process in the context of new SAP functionality implementation. Support treasury back-office activities. Redesign monthly closing reconciliations based on requirements from the Accounting Manager and drive implementation, including organising trainings and monitoring quality. Review and maintain SOP documentation and Internal Control System documentation. Perform ad hoc analysis and contribute to specific projects as required. Pursuing or recently completed a Master or Bachelor degree in Finance. Previous working experience is a plus. Good level of proficiency in Excel. Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, remain open to new ideas and feedback, and step in where needed to support the team. Strong teamwork skills with ability to engage with diverse team members and actively contribute ideas and insights. Curious mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge transfer. Excellent command of both English and French; German is a plus. Flexible working options depending on the role, within an 80–100% pensum.
