The company is at an early stage of building and scaling its operations, with activities spanning recruiting, administration, investor relations, grants, events, office management, and business operations. The internship offers broad exposure to the full operational lifecycle of a startup, with the opportunity to take ownership of areas matching the intern's strengths and potentially transition into a more specialised role after the internship. Support the HR & Operations Manager across the following areas: Recruiting and People Management: coordinate interviews and candidate communications, maintain recruiting pipelines and hiring trackers, prepare employment agreements and onboarding/offboarding documents, support performance review and employee development processes, assist with HR administration and employee record management, and help coordinate business travel and logistics. Administration: support preparation of financial reports and cashflow updates, assist with invoice management and expense tracking, help coordinate payroll-related administrative activities, support VAT, insurance, and other administrative processes, and maintain company documentation and records. Operations: review and maintain company policies and operational documentation, help document and optimise workflows and procedures, identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI tools, automation, and process standardisation, and support office administration and day-to-day operations. Grants and Compliance: support preparation of grant reports, timesheets, and audit documentation, coordinate document collection and submission, and track deadlines and reporting requirements. Investor and Management Support: help prepare materials for investor and board meetings, assist with shareholder communications, and support AGM and corporate governance activities. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or a related field. Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Comfortable using AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to improve efficiency while maintaining critical thinking. Strong organisational skills and commitment to high quality standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership. Nice to have: German language skills (strong plus), previous academic or internship experience with ERP tools (e.g., Bexio, SAP, Monday), familiarity with taxation and social security systems (Swiss system exposure is a plus), and previous experience in recruiting or people management. A unique opportunity to learn how a startup is built and scaled from the inside. Broad exposure to the full operational lifecycle of a deep-tech semiconductor startup, spanning HR, finance, operations, investor relations, grants, and compliance. The chance to take ownership of areas matching your strengths and interests over time, with the potential to transition into a more specialised role after the internship. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, with a 6-month duration starting 1 August 2026.
