About

The Villars Institute is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to accelerating the transition to a net zero economy and restoring planetary health. The organization collaborates with institutional partners globally and brings together artists, experts, entrepreneurs, educators, and learners for online and community activities in the alpine village of Villars-sur-Ollon, Canton Vaud. The institute operates a hybrid working model supporting in-office, remote, and on-the-go work. Assist in coordinating events, workshops, and community activities in Gland, Villars-sur-Ollon, and online using digital tools to streamline logistics and engagement. Manage project information comprehensively, including files, databases, and key contacts. Support continuous improvement of administrative processes by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and documenting best practices. Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and administrative documentation to ensure consistency, efficiency, and knowledge retention across the organization. Swiss nationality or Swiss working permit required. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. Proactive and solution-oriented approach with keen interest in AI tools and digital platforms. Ability to work collaboratively while independently driving projects to completion. Passion for technology, AI, and process innovation. Belief in the institute's mission and motivation to translate ambitious ideas into real projects. 6-month paid internship with hybrid working arrangement. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Operations Manager and contribute to the institute's digital transformation and mission advancement. Exposure to diverse initiatives spanning planetary boundaries, climate and energy transition, nature and biodiversity, science and technology, and the arts.
