The Villars Institute is a nonprofit foundation based in Gland, Vaud, Switzerland, dedicated to accelerating the transition to a net zero economy and restoring the health of the planet. It collaborates with institutional partners across different domains worldwide, bringing together artists, experts, entrepreneurs, educators, and learners for online and community activities in the alpine village of Villars-sur-Ollon, Canton Vaud. The institute operates on a hybrid working model supporting in-office, remote, and on-the-go work. Topics include planetary boundaries, climate and energy transition, nature and biodiversity, science and technology, and the arts.
Support the assessment, onboarding, and engagement of institutional partners. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support program development, partnership strategy, and decision-making. Assist in the design, implementation, and analysis of the Global Issues Survey, including data collection, reporting, and insights generation. Support the day-to-day coordination and delivery of the Fellowship Program, including participant communications, engagement activities, and program administration. Maintain accurate records of partnership activities, program information, and databases. Work closely with the Operations Manager.
Swiss nationality or a valid Swiss working permit is required. The ideal candidate is proactive and solution-oriented with a keen interest in sustainability, education, research, and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical skills and comfort working with both quantitative and qualitative data are essential. Candidates should have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. The ability to work collaboratively while independently driving projects to completion is expected. Alignment with the institute's mission is important.
